Why would my 2 week old be spitting up more than 4 times? It started at 3 this morning. I don't get it. He's BF and nothing in my diet has changed. I do avoid greasy spicy foods as much as possible. What are some things that can make a BF baby spit up? It was bad one time that it came through his nose and caused him to stop breathing for a few seconds.

That sounds like throwing up not spitting up. Has him or you been around anyone with a cold recently

@thehowtohippie, no we have stayed pretty secluded. The only place he has been was to his appointment for jaundice and that was an hour tops.

@lilanne1927, no some babies just get it. my three month old has it and so did her older brother at about the same age
