I was wondering when the doctor checking for dilation start to hurt. Bc everyone on here talks about it hurting. Just a little confused.
It's different for everyone, for some they do hurt. It didn't really hurt for me, just super uncomfortable. Depends on your doctor, and your body I guess.
For me it got painful when I went into L&D. They checked to see if I was ready to be admitted and it was painful. Was painful the whole time during contractions and all that. Before that, though, it was just uncomfortable
I know but I've seen people on here all the time saying how much they hurt.
It's just uncomfortable for me, but I could see how for some it could be painful. My OB literally was digging for gold or something at my appointment today especially considering she was like "Now where in the heck is that cervix" 😂 so I could see how for some it could become a tad painful. I find myself in more pain (cramps & contractions) afterwards
