okay mommies I have a question when your baby was first born did you wait until the placenta was done draining so your baby got all his or her nutrients or did you cut the umbilical cord off right away I'm trying to get ideas on which one I should do?

Delayed cord clamping is a new study that has come out recently. It has a lot of benefits if you read up on articles. I plan to delay cord clamp if everything goes as plan. It's a really good idea if you believe in the research.

None of my babies had delayed cord clamping and they all are fine. But I'm going to do it with this baby

It's preference really. I didn't do delayed cord clamping with either of my babies. I'm sure it has good benefits but no harm done if you don't either.
