last night I finally felt what my mother felt when I was young & all we could afford was to pay bills and for the essentials in life. we were at Wal-Mart looking at curtains for our room and she so badly wanted a new doll and she had been good all week and even longer and me and my fiance wanted to buy her one but we couldn't we dodnt have the extra money, we could barely get the curtains. and as we checked out she looked at me with her big brown eyes and said "it's play mommy, I understand I can't get a dollie" as soon as we got in the car I started crying because I never wanted to have my children feel what I felt as a child, basically to feel poor or like we can't afford anything but the bills. and she sat in her car seat and told me not to get because it will get better. she is so smart for a 3 year old. it broke my fiances heart that he scrapped up a little money up and took her to McDonald's.
