Anyone have advice going from early labor to active? Contractions aren't close enough together. They…

sit on a yoga ball or walk around as much as positive just stay active as long as you can

We went in at 1130pm because my husband insisted and my contractions were about 4-5 mins apart and only last about 30 seconds each but I still haven't dilated past 1cm which is crazy to me! Came home and they pains during the contractions are stronger but still not closer together or longer. They said not to come back until I am in tears and can't walk lol @gabbii

@lexilulu, thanks! The nurse at the hospital made it sound like my contractions aren't doing anything because I'm not dilating from them. So she was talking about what will happen to induce me next week. 😭

@angiek, thank you! So do I. I just couldn't believe 10 hours of 4-5 minute apart contractions and I'm still not dilating. Just my luck!

some people can't dilate on their own, so if the pain continues I'd tell them that you're not leaving until you get help. you shouldn't have to be in non-stop pain. you should drink as much water as you can though

@tlw1596, thanks! They said that if they don't get closer together and longer not to come back in and we can talk about inducing at my apt on Monday. That's a long time to deal with these contractions 😭

@jaxmomma, it is a VERY long time! Like a ridiculous amount of time...They know you are in so much pain, I really don't understand...I'm a FTM so unfortunately I don't have any advice but I hope another mama on her does.....praying for you!!
