Based on the note written from my doctor to my employer in the beginning of my pregnancy, during third trimester my bending and stooping will be limited. My employer let me know tonight that they cannot accommodate to my needs based on that doctors note, so I have to go on a leave of absence when I start my third trimester. What do you ladies think? I have no FMLA, I haven't been here one year, I won't have any income of my own coming in. I'm stressing out! I honestly didn't expect this.

you can't do fmla, like you started, but that's just job protection. you can still do unemployment depending on your state

short term disability. im on a loa for my whole pregnancy because i work in a warehouse (amazon). look into it. it will get you something!

there's ways around everything!... There's something called "state disability assistance" you can apply for at DHS. it's usually not public information, you have to specifically ask for that because it's different from cash assistance. you have to prove that you filed for social security, that's it... just that you filed. not that you won, just filed...
