Well I was at the hospital when my sister had her baby and the nurse asked her about it and she was like of course and I'm looking at her like wth is that lol @futuremrs.holbert

when your baby is first born, you can have the baby laid on your chest naked. at that time you can go ahead and try to begin breast feeding or keep the umbilical cord uncut til the placenta is came out for your baby to get the last of the nutrients left inside of it. they'll wait on doing the babies weight, etc, it's just a chance to bond with your baby and let him or her adjust their body temperature to yours

41 weeks, induced, vaginal safe delivery, didn't get to do skin to skin,they cut the umbilical cord off right when he came out. he already had his black boo boo. that's why but everything turned out okay.

Yea they did. I had an induction set up which I wasn't trying to do anyway..... But I was checked on Friday and was nothing Lol. Then Sunday boom full labor and dilated to a 7 by the time I got to the hospital. All my babies were over due

Well that's a big relief. Everyone I have talked to has had their babies before 40 and I'm like sheesh but yes the 22nd will be my last appointment. She said she would set up something the 24th either an induction or c section @mira423

Wow the 22nd! Your baby won't be wrinkly lol, you'll still have a beautiful baby trust me! My son was born at 41weeks and 1day. I woke up to contractions day before I was suppose to get induced and had him the the next morning

I have. It was just like all the other weeks to be honest Lol.

Depression! I cried because they refused to induce me when I was 40weeks. I was just tired of being pregnant at that point
