I will be 13 weeks tomorrow Dr said I will be in my 2nd trimester, I thought 2nd trimester started…

People go by that chart but its not accurate! My doctor said just count each month as 4 weeks and at 40 weeks youre actually 10 months pregnant

If you count each month as 4 weeks you'll end up being pregnant up until your 11th month because not all months are 4 weeks. Use the chart. If all months were 4 weeks they'd all be 28 days, which we all know isn't true.

Wow really @marie_xo when I asked my doc when I first got pregnant if I should just count each month as 4 weeks she was like oh definitely not pregnancy months are not the normal 4 weeks. I guess every doctor is different when it comes to this! But you're right pregnancy is actually 10 months. I'm 8 months along but have 8 weeks left so by regular calendar 2 months left

How would it be 11 months? @babymama85. & yeah maybe, i just rather go with what my doctor says but if your doctor says different then just go with that lol @emkasting

I basically say I'm pregnant til I give birth lol it doesn't really matter if it's 9 or 10 or whatever haha
