I hate that at baby showers so many people buy newborn clothes! He might not even be able to wear them. So I'm only going to wash a few and keep the tags on the rest if I need to take them back.

well and my due date is the day after easter and people still bought me easter clothes... but in 3 months + sizes... and I didn't know until I'd already washed them...

Did anyone buy off your registry? Mine is in 2 weeks and no one has looked at mine. Makes me made that I put all my time and effort for nothing.

Yes, but not until the last like week. @nykky779 and some didn't, they just bought whatever so I have some doubles I have to return

My point exactly. They dont even last long in new born clothes. I always take them back and get a bigger size.

right and I bought 0-3 months for my daughters easter outfit because they estimated her weight to be 7.5-8 pounds last week and I don't get induced until the 21 so she could be bigger by then and my friends like she's not going to be able to fit into that and I'm just like the tag says 8-12.5 pounds so you can hush because you're not the one carrying her to know how big or little she's going to be

Exactly! Some babies don't wear them at all. I was surprised how many people who have kids bought newborn too. We will see. @lashellg @peanuts1mom

On my shower invites I'm going to politely request only 6 month + clothes because I have plenty of smaller sizes and I doubt my baby will fit into newborn sizes unless he's early, his dad was 10 lbs as a newborn!

my sons dad was 10lbs when he was born it Really doesn't matter your baby will fall in between your birth weight and your hubbys i was 6lbs my hubby was 10lbs and are baby weights 6 they said he will be between 7 to 8lbs if i go full term @emkasting

yeah they said the babies tend ro weight in between mom and dad
