so i call my dr. office and tell the lady i need to change my appointment from thursday to tomorrow. so she says why. and i said because i need to see my doctor. and she said but why. and im like Thats not your business. so she said okay ill change it but im going to find out either way like really??? thats how we answer phones now??

they have to know why so that they put it on the paperwork for the doctor knows ahead of time and can be prepared.

that's unprofessional but they usually ask just to make sure its really an emergency to tell you to come in now/tomorrow, go to the hospital or to wait till the appointment. when you tell them what it is, they usually tell the doctor to see what he/she wants done for you.
