has anyone had an NIPT at 9 weeks to determine the gender and it was right?

Is that safe to do ?

it's a blood test that they do to test for chromosomal disorders but can also tell you the gender as early as 9 weeks. nothing invasive.

usually if it says boy it's correct if it's says girl there is still a chance it's a boy.

i did! had an ultrasound at 12 weeks to double check. it was 100 percent correct

I never got it done. just heard from doctors and other moms

@jasmine98, they just did it! I had never heard of it before! just a warning its like 16 tubes of blood. I ended up fainting. make sure you eat and drink a lot of water before you go ♡

@curvymommy, they did it at an appointment. My ob has his own lab. It took 10 days to get the results back.

@curvymommy, I would do it! especially if you don't want to wait until you are 18 weeks :) it wasn't that bad, just a lot of blood.

I got it done at 11 weeks and they only took 2 tubes of blood.
