my soon to be MIL is moving in with us soon. She doesnt want the extra room upstairs so she wants to swap out the nursery beside my room and put it upstairs. worst part was I only found out through her family that she was planning that.

Uh no. I'd tell her she can walk her ass up and down the stairs and your baby can be beside your room. your house so her plans don't matter.

what the hell?? you need your baby in the room next to you so you dont have to go up and down the stairs every time he or she cries in the night! that's ridiculous!

Not to discourage but girl... My MIL just moved out & it was the worst ever. She thought she was apart of my husbands and I relationship. My husband wouldn't put his foot down so I had to.. She had to gooo.. Now in ya case she hasn't even moved in yet and trying to rearrange things. I would say stand your ground now or she'll keep pushing.

apparently Ryan told her that she had the bottom floor because "her health is too bad" to walk up and down the steps. I was in the conversation they had and he told her upstair was all her because I refuse to use that half. she gets half the house to herself and she still wants it her way @sheaxx we already talked and I told him that if his mom gets to the point where its her house and not mine then he needs to make sure he corrects her cause I'll go back to mommas

Understanding she has health issues but that's putting your baby way out of your reach... It's your house .. You guys are being nice enough to to let her stay now she take the upstairs or she can stay where she is... I'm telling you from experience girl if you give her an inch she'll just keep asking and asking for more.

she is lucky she even has family taking her in. if she has health issues most families especially if they are expecting a baby go to nursing homes or have in home nurses so she's lucky she's gonna have that luxury of family around her. I don't think it's gonna be good on your mental health if the baby is all the way up stairs
