I almost wish I felt Braxton hicks or contractions or lost my mucous plug so I at least knew my body was preparing, lol. I for real feel like Im'a be 42+ weeks and he's still not gunna be here. My cervix is softening but still partially hard and minimal dilation at best. I have another Drs apt tomorrow but he's way up in my ribs and I'm positive there hasn't been a change since last week. My first born was born at 41+1.

And I realize that 39-40 weeks is full term and most optimal for him. I will not be doing anything to try and induce early labor or speed it up. I'm just impatient and so terrified of waking up one morning to the worst news. The closer I get the more irrational that fear gets.

With my first there was absolutely no indication of labor except for the fact I felt different I had to keep walking around it was a strange feeling. No water break no mucus plug lost NOTHING. He was born on his due date! Prior to that I wasn't dilated or anything! Trust me you will know. With my second my water broke and I lost my mucus plug lol

That's crazyyy. lol. With my first, I had a NST and they told me I was contracting and I didn't feel it. A few days later I lost my mucous plug and starting noticeably contracting 5 min apart and I labored at home for a while. When I went in, I was only 21/2 cm but they admitted me because I was 7 days past my due date and they broke my water. Dilation and everything else progressed on its own. He was born at 1:24 am the next morning. @daniellecaprara11

That's crazy!!! Yeah they broke my water with my first I felt like I was cheated out of knowing what labor was. So for my second it was an exciting experience except the nurses weren't knowledgable they said I wasn't loosing my mucus plug when clearly it was my mucus plug. Lol I swear!! Now I really wanna know what's going to happen this time around. Anxious but exciting. You're lucky you're down to the finish!

I guess I'm just so impatient to have him here healthy and safe! my last pregnancy resulted in miscarriage and this pregnancy has been so tumultuous, so I second guess my body. Soon though! @daniellecaprara11
