Does cocoa butter after a shower really help with preventing stretch marks? I've heard so many things and I don't have many stretch marks now but just wanna find out if it's actually worth trying to make sure I don't get any more.

I use pure shea butter and haven't gotten any yet!

So the reason the butter or lotion helps is because it keeps your skin moist. When your skin is dry and you scratch, it causes stretch marks. I've put it on since day one and never got any on my stomach, but got them on my butt and thighs.

Coconut oil is better . It penetrates deeper than coco butter

It doesn't hurt to try anyway. It's beneficial in other ways as well.

getting stretch marks is kind of inevitable lol i would use cocoa butter anyways just to minimize the appearance. i use palmer's products and they work great u can barely tell I have stretch marks but they are there and it helps after u have the baby too to get the skin back tight
