have any of you ladies have gone to the doctor and have gotten a urine test, with the result of having extra protein, it kinda freak me out because she ask if I have diabetes I said no, they pricked me and my blood sugar was normal, im a little puzzle, its there anything that may have affect the urine I guess I'm looking for some type of experiences or explanation of some sort

yes I've had protein in my urine for the last month and a half. they worry about preclampsia. I've had all signs except high blood pressure, so they just keep an eye on it. I'm going to ask a little more in detail tomorrow at my next appointment.

I did with my first pregnancy and I was told just to drink more water

Yes, I was 35 weeks pregnant and I had taken the urine thing and it came out with proteins then I went back for my 36 week checkup and I had high blood pressure with proteins in my urine. Sent me to the hospital and the kept me for a whole when I turned 37 weeks I had to get an emergency csection
