Okay this may be TMI for some, but I went to the doctor today, 40 weeks and he said 1cm and he would try to make me 2cm. Been home since 1030. Mucus plug started coming out, not all, but some (I'm assuming that's what this is because it's kinda brown color and thick) Does this mean he will come soon!? I don't have an apt with my doctor again until next Monday and he said not to call him for dumb questions haha so any advice would be appreciated!

Same thing happened with me. I was 40 weeks and dr did a "rough" exam.. I too lost bits and pieces of my mucous plug the following few days. I started having horrible (3-5 min long) contractions a week later! They gave me a csection that morning due to the long contractions stressing baby boy. Definitely will be coming soon though!

@ayeewhipxo, oh wow that reassuring. I googled (which I shouldn't) haha and people were saying it would take a month! Well I'm 40 weeks and don't have a month to wait haha sorry to hear that it ended up being a c section, but sounds like you and your little one are doing okay which is great! I'm just tired of waiting. Ready to meet mine 💙
