@shiles, yes good idea I didn't know the side effects but my family members had been taking it for years to induce labor at 38-39 weeks no one told me so I assumed it was OK... but most of the people who it happened to either took to much and took it too early either way it's your choice and decision just be aware of the risk just beacuse others like me had a safe and healthy delivery don't mean it will happen all the time lol it's like rolling dice... you don't know the outcome...good luck mama and if u do in the future decide to take it just a little T-spoon not half the bottle or more like them other people who almost killed there child
@shiles, I would be lying if I said it hadn't crossed my mind when I was a week overdue. But, right at that same time, a woman I followed on Instagram took it (39 weeks gestation), and the baby had complications due to the caster oil. The baby was in the NICU for two months! I figured I'd just suck it up after that.
@cass_lynne, @hermommy @supermommy23 thank you I wasn't planning on taking it anytime soon but now I don't think I'm going to take it at all so thanks for the advice
@supermommy23, I was 38weeks when I took a small t spoon and contractions started almost right then I was fine and my son was healthy as well so idk but I heard after I did it that it wasnt safe mostly from ppl of this app so I won't be trying it again to be on the safe side
Do some research on it.. The baby can get into stress and poop in the womb and swallow it. If they swallow too much it's extremely dangerous for them and they can get sick or even worst die. And you will most likely have really bad diarrhea. You may not go into labor. And if you try it now you probably won't unless your baby is ready. You need to let your baby come on its own. Or you can have extreme complications.
@shiles baby, baby can poop in the womb and swallow it. Look at that hashtag, it'll show you what castor oil CAN do
@jennatess, @hermommy @supermommy23 @cass_lynne I've heard things can go wrong but how!!? Like it's unsafe for me or the baby or both
Don't do it.. You're too early anyways. Let your baby come on their own. Much better for them.
I heard it wasn't... but truth is I took it with my first child it made me have contractions and I pooped alot then a few hours later he was here! but I heard horror stories from others who did take it so it's some risk mama...
Absolutely not.
