I think people need to understand pregnancy is a 40 week thing and accept that for the last couple months it's going to suck but baby needs to come out on their own time.

I'm not specifically mad at you but I'm getting frustrated seeing multiple people ask about self induction every single day on here because when you self induce you're potentially risking your child's safety. I don't see a difference in eating large amounts of pineapple or using caster oil; if it's not your body going into labor on its own or it's not a doctor telling you they want to induce you early I think it's a horrible idea. Please let your baby come on their own time.

I understand where you're coming from but I was just curious as to whether or not any of it even works. I may or may not try it, for a bunch of reasons. My pregnancy has been 100% uncomplicated so far and my baby is already fairly big. And besides that, I believe that your body won't go into labor unless it's ready, whether you encourage it or not. @kimberlyyyy

chances are, anything you try won't work until both baby and your body are completely ready.

I tried castor oil, I don't know if it actually helped but I know when my contractions did start they were bad and right on top of each other until my daughter was born. I definitely won't be doing it again. plus it was so gross.
