That's strange, I have united and they're covering everything! The most I would end up paying is $500 out the door! And I pay a very small monthly premium

@sunflowerchild, I would call United and talk to them about it, see what they can do! Did you know that you're most likely eligible for a free breast pump from them too? I just got mine!

It's all about which plan you have and what your deductible is. And don't think that Medicaid is much better. If you are employed then you get shared cost which has a MONTHLY deductible of over $3000 so as in my case they haven't covered anything yet. I've been paying out of pocket this whole time.

And @Valrocks is absolutely right! They quoted me the exact same thing! $3000 deductible!!! I was freshly pregnant and had to scream at them over it. I "politely" asked where they think I'm pulling this 3 grand out of, cuz my a$$ sure is empty! Haha
