My baby will only eat French fries and nuggets. I know some of you probably think its my fault blah…

my 2 year old goes thru spurts.... sometimes he will eat anything we give him and sometimes he will only want to eat crackers or chicken nuggets.... I supplement with carnation instant breakfast shakes or pediasure shakes.... I tell him they are milkshakes and he gets excited lol

I have heard a kid will never starve. if they are hungry, they will eat. maybe go tough love on him and only offer what you want him to eat? he is still getting formula or breastmilk, right? so he should be fine during the transition. 😊

I was looking at pediasure yesterday ! but my baby still drinks out his sippy cup @sarahdrew

oh OK . what flavor do you get? did you consider asking a doctor before or just use your mothers intuition? @sarahdrew

I didn't talk to the Dr beforehand, but I told him at my sons next appointment and he was fine with it.... my son likes chocolate and vanilla

OK thanks and how often do you give it to him because my son still drinks at least 4 cups of milk @sarahdrew

I would replace one cup of milk with it.... I only give it to him once a day

I study special needs and sometimes children who will only eat 1-3 different types of food can have a very mild form of autism.( I'm by no way telling you your child is autistic. I'm just bringing it up. a picky eater will grow out of it, a mildly autistic child won't. just something I'd watch.

This is a common stage that will happen all throughout baby and toddler hood. 🙂 at one point when my son was 2, all he would eat was meat. Only meat lol. Cheese at one point lol
