Depends on how long you was on it too I was for six years and it took me three years to get pregnant

it took me about 4 months and i was on it for 5 years

cause I got one November 2014 and February 2015 and didn't get my period until October and got pregnant in November 2015.,

it can take up to a year for the shot to get out of your system

I guess it depends on your body when it processes the shot out

I found out I was pregnant when I went in for my follow up shot. I was only 2 weeks late to get it! I don't think it really affects long term if you only get 1. I had 2 or 3 at that point.
