So my mom told me she was going to buy my carseat for the baby, so I let her know that it is on sale right now. it's like 30% off! it's driving me nuts, cause she won't text me back, and she is kind of flakey anyways, so I'm worried I'm going to end up buying the carseat in the end. it's really gonna piss me off if I end up having to pay full price when I could have bought it today for 30% off. should I just buy it anyways? I only hesitate because she is my mom, and I love her, we don't have any real problems, and she gets her feelings hurt VERY easily. I offered to let her buy the stroller instead, still no response.

You could buy it @maybabyboy and if she does buy you one then you can take yours back and get something else
You could buy it and ask her to help with something else or give you the money that you spend on it.
@hgeer1475, I just hate to be wasteful with money, if I don't need two I would hate to have two, when I could use something else more.
I was thinking buy it and if she gets you one you could say.you wanted one for both so she doesn't get hurt.

Reminds me of my mother, just get the car seat yourself and have her get you something else you need.
Honestly, I would get it just in case. If she ends up getting it for you, you can always return the one you bought. I just wouldn't tell her if you do end up deciding to buy it. Otherwise you'll be kicking yourself if you don't get it now & she flakes out on it.
