Has anyone used evening primrose oil to help prep for labor? Im thinking of trting some. Any experience is welcome.
I think it helped my labor. I had to be induced but from the time pitocin started to having him out was only 10 hours. the doctors were amazed how quickly I progressed once I got started especially since I got the epidural as well.
I also didn't need any stitches, but my labor was 48 hours. So it's hard to tel if it helped lol
probably around 36 weeks. it was 4 years ago and I remember being super impatient with my son because I felt so big so I tried getting a head start doing everything. like, literally everything. sex 2x a day, walking, epo... this time around, I know it doesn't do squat, so I do it to tempt fate. in one night I ate habenero, pineapple, had sex and ran-walked 2 miles. like all within a couple hours. nothing. baby comes when baby is ready
Idk if it actually worked I started at 38 weeks and some change , 2 days later I went into labor. I was doing other things also so idk what really helped or if she was just ready
it's a dietary supplement that some women used to help their labor go by smoother and faster. its a capsule of oil.
waste of money. didn't work for me. I was still over due and had to get a csection.
lol i keep seeing mixed stories about it. I wonder how it work with me being 80% effaced and 2cm dilated.
