RANT So yesterday I go in to work because I took this one guys shift because he needed it off. I get there and its about a 20 min drive. All employees have to park in the lower parking lot far as fuck from the store, so i waddle up the hill and into the store. I'm winded. I clock in, I get a chef's coat and get ready to head to my section then I realize I forgot my bandana so I go all the way back to my car then BACK UP THE HILL OF DEATH. Just then one of the shift managers asks

"Are you here to work? Cuz Griffin is coming in. He's just going to be late." I stare at him blankly still winded.

"but we filled out the shift change log..and I'm here NOW."

"yeah, but it didn't get approved so you can go home."

"Umm..OK, cool." NOT COOL. SOMEONE COULD HAVE CALLED ME TO TELL ME NOT TO WASTE MY TIME and GAS! Why is communication not a thing at my job?! I'm approaching the 9 month mark and irritability is poppin and I'm tired. wasting time, money, and energy is not an option, assholes! I'm tempted to not even go in today and say fuck em. END RANT
