Husband has been laid off since november and getting unemployment while I've been working my butt off..but he just got a job..downfall is the first 90 day probation period only pays $8 an hour.. I'm having a baby in 2 months. I'm literally wanting to throw up just thinking about it. how in the world are we going to pay the bills? any suggestions? I know that we can apply for assistance when the time comes because my job doesn't pay me while I'm on leave..but in the meantime I'm going to get soo behind. we're already behind on things. gas and oil field jobs please come back soon!!

Does your job offer Aflac? I'm using Aflac maternity and short term disability to hold us until I'm back at work. I understand your worries my husband is in sales and sometimes it's slow so I'm worried about when the baby comes too and I'm a teacher so I'll be off June-August 3 long months normally I work PT in the summer but will not be possible in this summer. Depending where you live you may qualify for something

my company doesn't offer any disability insurance.. I called to try to get a plan before I got pregnant but there wasn't anything available without an employer being on board @mommy2b2adysen

@gcpaschal, depends on what you sign up for but mine will pay my reg check rate I signed up for the plan to match my income
