would it be bad if I didn't have a baby shower?? I have nobody helping me with it and I have to pay…

I had one with my first and 3 people showed up, my aunt decorated and went all out I felt so bad so this second time I just didn't have one at all.. Its a huge help if people show up 😐

that's what I'm afraid of also is nobody actually showing up.. it's stressing me out so much trying to plan it. I think I'm just not going to have one at all. @alicia91

i didn't have one i think they should be a surprise for us from people that care for us plus i dont see why we should pay for everything so i rather spend that money on my baby stuff then people just saying

exactly. I had people telling me "I'll help you" and now they're nowhere to be found and aren't helping. I didn't realize a lot of people don't actually have them. @b_g_b_mom

yeah it sucks the same happen to me ........all the money we spend on food the stress on getting everything ready for a couple of gifts yeah you have a good time but i mean i dont think its worth spending all of that money like i told my friends and family i still receive gifts and stuff for the baby even though im having a baby shower lol @shelsynikkol

I had one that I planned and paid for myself. A friend of mine offered to throw me one but I didn't want to put her out like that financially. I knew that no matter what I spent, it wouldn't compare to how much everything we would get would be worth. I did mostly everything DIY to keep me on budget

I think I'ma just tell everyone I'm not having it. everything is expensive, so like you said I would rather buy stuff for my baby then for a party. plus I have anxiety and stuff like that stresses me out. @b_g_b_mom

Can you have family and close friends each being a dish to contribute? You don't need decorations, especially when finances are tight, which is completely understandable. maybe see if his restaurant would donate some small appetizers as well
