I've been thinking about having my baby natural. Is there any advice or what you recommend?
It's totally worth it. The moment baby comes out is the most incredible thing, ever.
What @i.xvi.mmxvi said. Stay moving if you can and make noise. That helped me all the way to 8 cm. I labored at home, but 8 hours into active labor and I was too weak to continue. Just be open minded. I wanted a natural birth as well, but did not have one in the end. I was upset, but I was happy when my baby came soon after since I was able to sleep and gather some energy to push.
And stay moving for as long as you can. I wanted to get up and move around but I couldn't because the pain was just unbearable. I could not move. The only thing I could do was shake and cry. It's the kinda pain where you have to make noise.
Breathing really helps. When I was getting to 9 and 10 cm I was in so much pain I could barely breathe.
I actually didn't even go all natural, I had a little bit of pain medication. But I refuse to get an epidural. Not for me.
