I've now been in the induction process for alittle over 37hrs. the highest dose of pitocin wasn't really doing anything for me, ugh. my midwife said no matter what today is baby day; I hope no c-section but it may come down to it. they let me off pitocin to eat and shower (yay!)

ask them to break your water if your dilated. it'll move things along a bit and may help pick up contractions.

i was induced with my son, total process took almost 60 hours. i didnt have much progress and almost had to have a c-section until they broke my water. thats the only thing that kept my son from over stressing and kept his heartrate from dropping anymore.

@pixiestix if it comes down to it, I'd rather them try that before a c-section. it's part of their criteria for one anyways unless there's obvious fetal distress
