This is what we did , it was back in October when we found out we're having a boy so we used pumpkins for a fall / Halloween theme, you could do something Spring theme'd as an idea, that'd be cute :)

oooo, if your baby is gonna be born in the spring you could do like an easter theme party. Have the eggs look easterish and fill them with confetti the color of your baby's Gender and smash it on eachothers head.
