Yeah I would ask your doctor about them then mine dissolved after a couple weeks but everyone is different! but after the stitches have dissolved some coconut oil makes a world of difference for the scared tissue

@christy0128, I think everything is healed for me, still a little pain but noting major. but my stitches are still there

Mine was almost a month and they were supposed to dissolve but didn't. They were literally like grown over by my skin and I had to sit in front of a mirror Bc my doctor was like "they'll fall out" and refused to look at them. When I trimmed the suture down so that it wasn't hanging out of me and irritating the hell out of me I was able to take tweezers and pull out the last little bit. It hurt too bad when it was long but not at all then short. It was weird. I hated being stitched.

I just had my first doctors app since I delivered and my doctor said everything was all healed but it's going to take some time for the pain to go away since the tissues are still sensitive! She said coconut oil could help if you use a little of that!
