I have an appointment with a Midwife @ 14weeks, apparently OB/GYN Docs at my hospital dont see women for the first time if they are past 13W. Midwife see you up to 17weeks. i never heard that. interesting. anywho. i want to hear about experiences with Midwives. good, bad and indifferent. im a FTM no no idea what to expect.

I have personally heard midwives are so much better then ob/gyns because they get more personal with you and care more then a doctor going in and out of the room without talking. I don't have any midwives around me so I'm forced with the ob/gyn but I definitely wanted the midwives.

wht ive learned as a first time mom is they will try u ask other moms so u can learn wht to say and do

talk to other moms who have kids so u can know wen a hospital or dr or midwife is playing around with u

I had a ob/gyn with my first. In and out like hot cakes. This time around I'm seeing a midwive and they spend a little more time with you ask you how your doing, thought of names, what gender do you want or think the baby is. Ask questions about anything and they will talk with you and answer them.

i just did a search for my midwife she has 16 years in the field. i feel good. i got a veteran.
