Dang, the blessing of still having your grandparents. I wish I still had my grandparents with me. Cherish them.

@briannedenay, going to miss them when they r gone and ur grandma is a lot older and wiser than we are..lots more years on this earth..so what she's doing can't be harmful look how many have survived under her care.

Ummmm... If she's going against your wishes that's disrespectful. No matter how old or "wise" she is. Yes, you're gonna miss her when she's gone, but that doesn't mean she can just do whatever she wants. Luckily, my grandma has enough respect for me to respect my requests, but if she didn't I would tell her straight up that she's being really disrespectful.

Also, just because you have specific requests, doesn't mean you don't cherish your grandparents.

@luckytwo, I honestly don't give a damn. She spoils my daughter in a way that is not okay with me. She refuses to put her at a table when feeding her (like the picture), doesn't make her clean up her own toys, let's her have her way when she whines or cries, and the worst part? Won't even put her on her potty anymore. She will be two on the 29th and isn't any closer to being potty trained. It's infuriating. They're not gonna be around forever and she's only making my life more difficult for when I move away with her and actually do with her how I want her to be raised. Yes, I appreciate my grandmother for what she does for me, but that does NOT give her the right to over step her boundaries with MY child. I gave birth to her. If I say she can't wear blue, then damnit she will not wear blue. It doesn't matter what she thinks she knows or how much experience she has. She is my daughter and if she isn't gonna be raised how I want, then she'll barely have an hour with her when we come to visit.
