Vent/deep thought I was having 😊 : I think a lot of people have this "perfect" image of what a good, stable family is. The parents stick together to raise their baby(s) in a happily ever after kind of way. Things work out between you two and you aren't together just because you have a kid but because you guys actually love each other. And I think thats where a lot of women (including me) feel the need to stick with the father and force things to work out. You can't change someone, you can't force anything to be perfect, and you can't keep yourself away from being happy. I look at my mother who's been in 2 very long relationships (12+ years) prior to meeting my step father and she's the happiest she's ever been (together for 17 years and still happy). I guess what I'm trying to say is that, it's definitely okay if things don't work out between two people because good things end so better things can begin. Even if you so badly want your SO to be a parent or a better person to you, someone else can get the chance to be that person and father if you give them that chance. ✌
