ask the doctor and when the baby is born you tell the hospital who the pediatrician is and they will send them the baby file

in your 3rd trimester. call and set it up and make sure the doc goes to whatever hospital you deliver at. when you deliver tell them you have a pediatrician and that ped will come when you have the baby. with my first he came. then with 2nd and 3rd he didn't go to the specific hospital I went to so I had to drive to him two days after leaving hospital. now with 4th he goes to this specific hospital

@megramirez, thanks. The doctor will be at a different hospital so I'll have to make that drive unfortunately. I'm very picky about my doctors. She's going to the same pediatrician I had.

Okay just use the hospital pediatrician and then that first week take her to her pediatrician but no matter what, call when you have her. @daydreamingofsleep
