Am a SAHM since having our baby. I love every second of it. I get that not all moms get that opportunity, for that I cherish and appreciate my husband. I tell and show him everyday. So shout out to all working moms, I know it can't be easy but the sacrifice made is tremendous!

I would love to be a stay-at-home mom but unfortunately my boyfriend doesn't make enough he makes good money but not enough for me to stay at home we did work out that I could stay at home with her for 3 months but after that I have to go back to work

@babyn2015 that is so awesome that you get to do that and that you show him how appreciated he is!!!! @gabbator95 i hear you girl!! i wish the US gave moms paid maternity leave like other countries but unfortunatley the family doesnt come first in america for whatever reason. lol we are blessed to have jobs and to be able to provide but nothing compares to the job of mommyhood!

? I'm guessing that y'all aren't stay at home mom's? I understand where you are coming from. I used to be a working mother. I also used to be a single working mother working 1-3 jobs at a time from age 16-20 but now . I am a stay at home mom of three boys. and it's the most stressful job I've ever had I cry on a daily basis I'm only home 2out of eight hrs betwen 7am - 5pmand in those 2hrs I have to make sure the house is absolutely perfect for when I pick my husband up at five. the rest of the time I'm in a car running the lugs where they need to be making sure they have exactly what they need and h making sure they are on time. school, sports, events, doctors, hubby to work. make sure the dogs get walked for at least an hr eveey day I get 0-30 min of sleep a day the other 23.5 I'm awake whole the husband sleeps getting other household chores done while everybody sleeps. I literally haven't slept in a week.. I'm running off caffeine right now literally. I used to work three jobs. I loved working I want to go back to work. yea it's great and all. but we have a right to complain about it. it's an extremely stressful job. it's not just fun and games and spending time with the kids. I wish it was yes it has its great moments you get to stay home with the baby but. today was my first shower in a week.I literally stood there for ten min it was fantastic. I've got three kids I never get to just sit down and relax. it's stressful.

@raerae95 i hear that girl! i didnt say that you dont have a right to complain, everyone in some way or another has a right to complain about their situation and im sure its more stressful being a SAHM to three kids vs. just 1 especially 3 boys!! you go girl!! No one knows how complicated a situation can be unless they are in their shoes or have gone through the same thing so i am not in any way trying to downplay the difficulty of raising 3 boys on your own pretty much. It definitely is a job for sure but one for me personally that i would rather take on than the work i am doing right now. Hang in there girlie! i hope it gets better for you and you are given a little bit more time for yourself! @gabbator95 lol seriously!!

@raerae95 and one of the main reasons i would want to take that job on of being a SAHM is because i want to homeschool because i hate watered down public school curriculum and private school is too expensive. and i as well as my husband would like to be the main ones aside from family in control of what they are learning and who is raising them

I've been on both sides. 1st pregnancy I worked 40 hours a week up to a week before my due date. it was hard to go back to that same routine after having my son. but not being very prepared financially was a burden. luckily my bf would bring him everyday during lunch so I could nurse him. 2nd time around I lost my job a month before finding out I was pregnant. I love being home with my son. but being a stay at home wasn't in my plans until many many months from now if even that. I'm blessed yes but I also get depressed being home. finding a new job hasn't been easy. I miss work. socializing with other people. having an outside life. in the long run our kids will be proud of the sacrifices we make for them. we're doing the best we can for them ♡

I love being a STAHM, but I never get a day off lol I love it but now its really starting to get to me. I'm pretty sure I'm literally losing my hair. @hailholla1412 a job would be fricken wonderful and so would some adult communication. 😂

@raerae95 its par for the course!! at least you had some good experience in that now it carries over into mommyhood! i work in facilities right now at a college and i would rather be cleaning up after a baby than a bunch of ungrateful college kids who seem to never grow up haha hey but its job security because they never fail to make a mess. Only thing i havent done is teaching but i love to learn and read and research so i hope that helps me out a bit. my husbands mom homeschooled him and his brother all the way up and she lives two doors down so im hoping she can help and also my little brother is 2 and my mom wants to homeschool him because she feels the same so maybe it will work. who knows! lol

@hailholla1412, I've known alot of kids that where gone schooled. lol when they went into public school it was downhill

@lucyyxoxo_ ah i didnt even think about the whole nursing thing. im gonna have to pump in a bathroom here and store it in the employee fridge haha omg! @nichole_lynn to both of you guys i completely understand the whole social life thing and i guess it is a sacrifice we have to make to be moms but that doesnt mean somebody cant step in and allow you to see your friends once in a while. i would love to just get a part time job that way i can still have a little break and socialize make some moolah but not have to take out a mortgage on my house for childcare lol

@raerae95 i hear that! well im hoping to homeschool all the way up to 12th and have them enrolled in some kind of extracurricular like sports or dance so they can meet friends and have a life haha just want to be able to teach them things and not have them learn it from someone their age at school who learned it from who knows. also we would get to pick where we went on field trips haha

@raerae95 basically it just depends on if my husband gets a better paying job eith benefits so i dont have to be the primary one working . i work at a huge university that will probably never run out of business. so if he could get a job here i could just cut back to part time. but i would really just love to stay at home and raise my daughter and do hobby work on the side to raise a little extra money. i guess thats everyones dream though. back to reality for me after 6 weeks!

@nichole_lynn it is absolutely insane!! my husband doesnt really understand how much more expensive it will be for me to work full time and pay for childcare rather than cut back to part time or just stay home. pros and cons lol

@raerae95 it is so the industry! mine is a bricklayer and works in construction but wants to be a welder because he is certified. i dont understand why he wont just go for it because he could make a lot of money with benefits if he did. i think its just a confidence thing idk lol
