Does anybody else just eat pre packed ham chicken etc as normal?? Read that you have to avoid it but…

god help my child then because I've been eating it every week. I literally just had sandwich ham

@hawkie75, I wouldn't worry, out of all the advice I've heard and books I've read I've never heard prepacked meat on the list

@hawkie75, just found this on NHS, I think it's more cured meat you want to avoid .... Pre-packed meat is safe to eat if you're pregnant

Pre-packed meats such as ham and corned beef are safe to eat in pregnancy. Some websites based in other countries may suggest that you avoid pre-packed meats in pregnancy, but this is not the advice in the UK.

Oh thank you so much, just wondered what other people thought, I like to snack on cold meats as I do slimming world xxx

All I eat is pack meat on sandwiches as its all I can keep down at the minute (and chocolate how convenient) I wouldn't worry! @hawkie75

You mean like honey roast wafer thin ham? That kinda thing? Yeah that's safe.. Actually I'm obsessed with cheese and ham toasties atm 😂 xx

All I eat is packet ham too! Never heard that before.
