Yes ! the only reason they can't tell you is if the baby is in a funny position

if the baby lets you see yes. I was 16 weeks and my midwife said she saw the little boy part. and she was correct 4 weeks later they confired it was a boy. :) just ask.

Bring it up to them when you go in. When I was 15 weeks, my next appointment was when I was 19 weeks. After my 15 week appointment I made sure to ask about my next appointment and the anatomy scan.
