When did your ob/mid wife tell you to stop having sex.. I have started effacing in week 30 and no that I'm 34 I'm worried if we have sex too much (my husband rarely pulls out) it will soften the cervix too fast.. Idk if this even does anything but did your health care provider tell you to stop at any certain time?!

I never stopped my midwife never had any concerns either. sex is what made me go into labor lol

Most actually encourage intercourse to induce labor naturally. You can ask your OB or Midwife to see what they say but they usually don't make you stop unless there is risk or bed rest involved.

Oh okay. We just though of what ever is in the semen softens the cervix and we are terrified of an early birth (I want April so bad).
