My SO went out of town for a few days knowing I had my second prenatal appointment today. I reassured him that it was okay because my mom said she would come with me, and that nothing exciting will happen as we are scheduled for our 12 week sono next week. Just as my appointment with doc was wrapping up he tried to find baby's heart beat with the doppler. I wasn't holding my breath since I haven't been able to locate with my doppler at home. Doc said it was a 50/50 shot, but to put his and our mind at ease he wasn't gonna let us leave without knowing everything was okay. He then sent me for a sono lol. Boy was my SO jealous when I sent him pics of our lil guy! Didn't mean to upset him but he felt awful he couldn't be there today and has been bumming all afternoon.
