CONFESSION: When my son was first born I didn't feel a bond or connection with him at all. I was in the hospital for a whole week and i don't think that i bonded with him the way a mother should. like i didn't feel the whole love at first sight thing. Maybe it's because i had a c-section idk. I love my son now. After I took him home I started to feel the connection and endless love for him. Did any other moms feel like this?

I did. I also had a c section. but when they handed me my son I didn't know what to do.. I was happy but I didn't love him. I didn't love him or bond with him until after I felt better from my c section. now almost 6 months later I'm so in love with him and I love watching him learn!

I didn't have a c-section and felt that. I was more happy I wasn't pregnant anymore! but once they took her out of my arms (like 1 hour later) the love came rushing in

i felt that way for while. and it still comes and goes when im really really tired. i think i had(have still maybe) ppd but ill never tell because i want to be a surrogate at being diagnosed means you cant. but i love my boy with all my heart. 100% best thing in my life is him.
