I don't understand why my "family" always has to put their two cents into my life and make me the topic of conversation. My uncle who has never been in my life decides he knows me so well and recommends I don't put David on my lease because my rent will go up (This apartment complex is all based on your income as to of how much you pay for rent) First off, David was already put on the list of people living in the household and she told me how much my rent would be with David living there and its not a big deal and its definitely something I can afford. Second off why does who I have living with me have any concern to anyone else? Its not like its effecting your life in any type of way so why do you feel its necessary to put your opinions out there? Third, why do you care who is in my life or what my life consists of when you come in my life once every 6 months.? If I'm going to be the topic of conversation you should be talking about how proud you are of me with registering back into school and getting my GED, getting my own apartment and paying for my own bills, Raising my daughter with both her mother and father in her life, talk about the good things and don't worry about anything else. Let me make my own mistakes and learn from them. Everyone constantly brings David into their conversation like he is their child or their main priority. Leave him alone! He got a job he got his Birth certificate, Social security card, ID, he's providing for his daughter and me. He's putting himself and his family before anyone else. Brag about how far he has come since you met him compared to where he was 3 months ago! Sorry for the long venting post.
