we have this neighbor that has been helping us with renovations but now we are painting the baby's room and my husband won't let me paint, so he asked our neighbor to do it and he likes to the job on his watch. this is third time my husband paid him up front and every time he does, this guy says he's going to the store real quick and doesn't come back for hrs or almost two days later. you would think after the first two times of this guy doing this, you would think my husband would learn not to pay him till the job is done and I'm trying to keep my mouth shut bc with my hormones every where and my bad temper, its not gonna be a pleasant site. I jus wish my husband would jus listen to me the first time I tell him something. I don't say shit to be naggy I say it bc I observe more than he does and I see pples behavior. ugh. @v_daloca

Honestly I would just do it myself! Like I've been doing haha @nessa_475 today I organized all the baby clothes re arranged closets cleaned house top to bottom...I don't like waiting on ANYONE...and why pay someone when I have two hands lol ....he shud be the one TAKINGG THE TIME out to do it lol

my husband is handicapped and struggles with his bad arm. we are first time parents and he's afraid of me being around the paint fumes. he keeps thinking that we'll lose the baby if I paint. believe me, if it were up to me I would have done it myself but I was respecting his wishes and his fear since we had a scare during my first trimester @v_daloca

No other family? ....but I mean the paying a guy who just leaves isn't a good option...maybe ask a neighbor ? Who knows

he doesn't have fam here and mine live almost three hrs away and our only other neighbor that paints is in the hospital with his wife. and yes I know this but my husband plays into their BS and their "stories" bc he has a soft heart. i told him don't pay him till the job is done but men don't listen. they think they know everything and think they are smarter than we are. he said he's gonna talk to this guy tmrw so idk. I'm over it. my emotions have been all over the map and I know my temper so I'm backing up before things get real ugly. i trust him to fix the situation I jus wish he would listen to me @v_daloca

he's a late bloomer lol. sometimes I think he thinks I'm nagging but all I'm doing is protecting. I'm the type, where u have to prove your loyalty to me cuz if not then I don't trust anyone cuz pple never hold up to their word so I kinda have to be stingy and keep my walls up unless other wise. @v_daloca
