Please no negative comments I'm already beating myself up over thinking this way. Are there any other second time mommies out there that are shocked that they are pregnant again and wondering how in the world can you love another child as much as you love your first? I'm sure once I'm holding my second child it will be just as magical as with my first I'm just really having a hard time wrapping my head around having 2 and loving the equally.

My sister in law is like that, only she isn't pregnant yet. She just doesn't wanna have anymore because she doesn't know if she'll love them the same. No judgement here, it'll take a little while to sink in that's all :)

I was the same way, but once I had my daughter it all seemed to work out, got to spend one on one time with my son while she slept and now he's adjusted to having her around

Im pregnant with my 4th my kids are 7, 4, 2, and I'm 12 weeks pregnant I felt like this when I was prego with my 2nd but don't worry your heart is big enough to love both the same! my Dr said that's a normal fear

My mom explained to it me this way. You'll never love them the same. You'll love them differently. She had three kids. I was her oldest. She told me since I'm expecting twins and I went thru the same questions and fears that you'll love your children with all your heart just in different ways. Don't be afraid. It'll be okay

yes i felt exactly the same way with my son that is 4. I wanted to enjoy him longer. I felt like i didnt want to share my love but i no longer feel that way im currently pregnant with my second and i love them both. I guess with time you will feel the same way. you will adjust just like i had did.
