feeding solid foods to early can cause something as bad as an autoimmune disease and won't show up until baby is an adult, I live every day with an autoimmune disease. something as simple as you coming near me with a cold could kill me and leave my babies without a mother. you want your babies to grow up with the best chance they can possibly have, you don't want that taken from them when they're adults and think they're "in the clear" because other moms say "I did it and my baby is fine" when their babies are still babies and they can't possibly know if their children are fine yet.
i'm not judging anyone but if you read my previous comments you would see WHY it's smart to wait. my mom fed me solids to soon, now a simple cold can kill me. you're fine, yay for you. I'm not, and that's because doctors told her I would be, but they were wrong.
research changes and "rules" change as doctors and scientists realize what Was "okay" is actually very bad and unsafe after doing long term extensive research and testing. @quansmommyy

@crunchymomma I don't like your attitude about mother who did feed their child before 6 months of age . Parenting doesn't have an instruction manual . It could be plenty of other reasons a child develops an immune deficiency

Totally agree with @crunchymomma waiting is good , and better SO much better. Im so sick of people talking about what happened with them when they were a baby 20, 30 fucking years ago when PAGERS were brand new😒 times have changed & so have studies. Pick up a book, do your research & parent how u want to based on the relevant evidence you discover. Starting a baby on solids this soon is bad that is indeed a FACT not an opinion. Whats the rush??? Ur baby has all its life to eat solids, wtf .

doctor say until 6months, every parent is different and start them sooner but I say ask your babies doctor on this one!!

I started feeding my son Gerbers at 6 months..wish I would've done it sooner..now when my baby girl is here I plan to feed her at 4-5 months
