it's not hard mama :-) n I got in the routine quick. you don't have to do kale and asparagus for lunch 😂 here's some meals that I usually eat and stuff I buy.
I eat whole wheat blueberry waffles or whole wheat bagels with cream cheese with yogurt and a fruit (applesauce or peaches or pears) for breakfast.
for lunch I'll do real ham with green beans or broccoli or cauliflower or Brussels sprouts (any veggie) with a cheese stick and a piece of wheat toast and peanut butter.
I buy mostly canned or frozen fruits and veggies with the occasional fresh bananas, apples, oranges.
blueberries are amazing and antioxidents. bananas are great too. And oranges give lots of vitamin c which is absolutely necessary!
buy some frozen blueberries and some bananas and almond milk with some vanilla yogurt..blend it up and you have the perfect breakfast smoothie 😁 buy any frozen fruits and blend any and they almost always come out yummy.
Lots of fruits, veggies, proteins, drink plenty of milk and water, eggs are great. You can make salads, or smoothies. Stay away from fried foods or foods with a lot of fat or sugar in them. Replace white bread with whole wheat. Drink lots of healthy juices. Read labels first. Get fresh produce instead of canned fruits and veggies. Snack on good things for you. Instead of junk food!
-protein.. peanut butter, beans, nuts, meat, fish, poultry (I think raisins have some too)
fruits
vegetables.. dark leafy greens are the best for you! broccoli. brussel sprouts, dark lettuce (not iceberg) avocados, asparagus, spinach (if that's your thing)
also...for extra calories I drink ensure and kelloggs breakfast shakes. :-) never replace a meal with them being pregnant..but drink it after a meal instead..if u drink it before a meal you won't eat all of your meal and it will be bad
