I'm so sorry. Was this your first baby? I'm also O negative. They said it shouldn't affect my first child but my next pregnancy could be effected if I don't get a shot. I'm 16w5d and now I'm super scared :(

The shot won't hurt and They do it on the butt cheek but You stay there 30 minutes to Check on you

Yes, I'm O- and I have to get them right as I find out, and after every pregnancy so my blood cells don't attack any babys I have with positive blood types.

Your first pregnancy should be fine, but I got the shot anyways. It's the ones afterwards you definitely get it for, because by then, your body has built up a defense against anything too foreign.
