So I think my bf is about to get a job that will require him to work Monday-Fri at different states paying $1500 a wk. & only see him on weekends. I really don't know how to feel about this, I mean it's cool for the meantime but what about when my due date is approaching? This is our 1st child & I'd really appreciate if he was here to share memories w/ me & basically not make me feel like a single mother. We're supposed to be getting an apartment before baby gets here. & I'll be there all alone if especially when baby arrives. I wish he'd work the job now & when due date is near try to work elsewhere that's HERE. I mean we indeed need the money but money can't buy memories nor love. This isn't how I pictured things going right now. Hopefully he realizes this soon.

Memories and love are great but rent, food, and utilities are must-haves. His absence will be difficult BUT thats much more preferable than struggling or losing an opportunity to provide an excellent life for his family versus Just an existence.. Do you think he could possibly work out a deal with the job to keep him in your home state prior to and right after the baby's birth?

I'm pretty sure he feels the same way but that's a big sacrifice that men make in order for guys to live comfortably... But don't worry he will not miss your delivery, I'm just pretty sure that he will be there girl...

@junetwofive16, you have time for him to come along. And I know the feeling my bf works all night long 9 to 7am so I'm always home alone at night but it's the sacrifice he makes..
