Glucose test 🚨🚨🚨 are we supposed to be fasting prior to the test? I can't remember what my dr said…

You can't eat or drink anything after 9pm the night before

Yes and I was actually told by my doctor no water but I drunk a little anyway.

I was just told not to have anything sweet before the test.

I was told nothing after midnight or 8 hours prior to test. not even water but I had to have some I was dying.

Nothing but water for at least 8 hours prior. That's what my printed instructions said from the doc.

I think it all depends on your dr. Because at mine I don't have to

If its the one hour test, you can eat and drink before hand. I had peanut butter toast right before mine and I passed. And I'm on the edge of being diabetic. If its the three hour test, you can't eat anything but you can have water.

I failed the one hour test because I didn't fast (ate a pop tart right before)

but I passed the 3 hr one fasting.
