if it was for something stupid like consensual sex(under age) then it shouldn't matter. but if its like rape or children then no. my husband is considered a sex offender because some stupid girl lied about her age so now he's that but they also have to take lie detector test to see if they like little children which he passed but if the person your talking about didn't pass then I wouldn't let him.
