How many hours can't you eat before your glucose test?

Depends on what you're doctor says

Some say not to eat nothing after midnight & if you do drink water water water ! It all depends on your doctor I wasn't able to eat at all @harkraderhaley

they just told me not to eat anything sweet

I didn't have a time when not to eat before the test but once u drink the drink then u can't eat r drink until u get ur blood work done

I ate right before I drank my drink..and everything came out fine..no sweets tho..I ate an egg, spinach and a glass of milk 30 min later drank my drink

My paper said 8 hours, not even water.

I was told no food or water after midnight. My appointment was for 1st thing in the morning.
